Where is the interview carried out?

The interview takes place on Google Meets, the duration is around 15 minutes. The interview link is sent on the morning of your interview.

How many shifts do I have to do a week?

There are no minimum or maximum amount of shifts you have to do a week it is completely down to you!

Why can’t I see the shifts?

You will only be able to view the different shifts available once your profile is complete and you have passed the interview.

What should I wear to my shift?

Black trousers, black shoes and black shirt. Sometimes this will differ, this will be noted in the description of the shift in the app.

Am I self-employed if I work for BuzzHire?

No, you are engaged on a PAYE (pay as you earn) basis by us! You will be paid a week in arrears every Friday.

What happens if I cancel a shift last minute?

We ask that you give us at least 48 hours' notice if you want to cancel a shift. If you do give us less notice than this we have a 3 strike system:

Less than 48-24 hours - 1 strike
Less than 24 hours - 2 strikes
Less than 4 hours notice - 3 strikes

If you receive 3 strikes, this will lead to you being removed from the system unless there are extenuating circumstances.

In cases of emergency just give us a call.

Why have I received a P45?

P45's are automatically submitted if you haven't worked through BuzzHire in the previous six weeks.

Whilst we understand this can concern some BuzzWorkers, be assured you can continue to use the app, apply for jobs and continue working through BuzzHire. We won't require you to sign up again and your account remains intact.
